Please write each assignment on your RTF word processing program (such as ABIWORD for PCs, or BEAN for Mac, or a Google Doc saved as RTF) and save it as an RTF (rich text format) document on your hard drive, following the title format guidelines shown below. (For security reasons, our online system can only accept assignments and papers saved as RTF files, AND ENDING WITH THE EXTENSION “.RTF”. (For more information about free, RTF word processors, please see the Computer Requirements section of the WorldU General Catalog.)
Begin your writing session by saving and naming your assignment document as follows:
Example: PSY208_Smith_Jane_Assignment_Week1_Reading2.rtf
PARTS OF THE FILE NAME:
Dept Abbreviation Example: PSY
Course Number_ Example: 208_
Last Name_ Example: Smith_
First Name_ Example: Jane_
Assignment_ Example: Assignment_

Assignment code
or number Example: Reading2 OR 3B, 7A etc.
THEN ADD .rtf
To help various computer systems deliver your file, please use the underscore character (“_”) instead of blank spaces in your document name.
Here is an example with all the specific information filled in:
PSY208_Smith_Jane_Assignment1B.rtf
The Submit module will record which assignment you are submitting, send your text to your Course Mentor, and send a copy to the Registrar’s Archives.
